In a teleconference with representatives of Baldrige-based state and local programs (July 2, 2009), Baldrige Program Director Harry Hertz answered the 2009 Board of Examiners’ seven most frequently asked questions about the 2009–2010 Criteria.
1. What Is the Difference between Performance Projections and Goals? Why Do the Results Scoring Guidelines Include Projections But Not Goals? Why Are Projections Expected for All Measures in All Scoring Ranges? Why Are Projections Not Mentioned in the Results Criteria?
2. Why Aren’t Results Items Aligned with Process Items?
3.  Without Comparisons, How Can Examiners Interpret Levels?
4. How Do Applicants Assess Key Themes in the Feedback Report?
5. How Do Examiners Evaluate Applicants That Are Part of a Larger System?
